Renewing your domain ensures you maintain control over your website address, email services, and online presence. If a domain expires, your website could go offline and the domain could become available to the public.
This guide covers how to manually renew a domain through your Eco Web Hosting client area.
🔐 Step 1: Log in to Your Client Area
Head to https://my.ecowebhosting.co.uk and sign in with your credentials.
🌐 Step 2: Go to Your Domain List
-
Click Domains > My Domains in the top menu
-
You’ll see all domains linked to your account, along with their expiry dates and renewal statuses
🔁 Step 3: Renew a Domain
-
Find the domain you want to renew
-
Click the Manage button
-
Look for the Renew Now option (usually in the sidebar or near the expiry date)
-
Select your desired renewal period (e.g. 1 year, 2 years)
-
Complete checkout to process the renewal
🔄 Prefer Auto-Renewal?
To avoid manual renewals, you can enable auto-renewal for any domain.
⚠️ What Happens If You Let a Domain Expire?
-
Your website and email may stop working
-
You may lose access to the domain
-
Recovery may require a redemption fee, or it may become available for others to register
We always recommend keeping auto-renewal enabled and ensuring your payment details are up to date.
