How to Edit a Custom Email Filter

Last updated on Apr 30, 2025

Custom filters allow you to automate how specific emails are handled — for example, moving them to folders, forwarding them, or blocking them.

If your needs change, you can easily update any filter you’ve created without starting from scratch.

🔐 Step 1: Access the Email Control Panel

If you're not already logged in, follow this guide:
👉 How to Access Your Email Control Panel

✉️ Step 2: Go to the Filters Section

  1. Click on the Email tab from the left-hand menu

  2. Then click Filters

🛠 Step 3: Locate and Edit the Filter

  1. Under Custom Filters, find the filter you want to change

  2. Click the Edit icon next to it

🧠 Step 4: Modify the Filter Rules

You can now adjust:

  • Conditions (e.g. sender, subject, body content)

  • Actions (e.g. discard, move to folder, forward to email)

Example: You could change a filter from “Discard emails from newsletter@domain.com” to “Move them to a folder called Promotions”.

💾 Step 5: Save the Changes

Once your changes are complete, click EDIT FILTER to apply them.

Your updated filter will now apply to all incoming emails that match your revised conditions.
